How to sign up

There are exactly two ways to opt in, and you choose one of them yourself.

Option 1 — the form on life.withmin.ai/sms.

1. Open life.withmin.ai/sms.
2. Enter your own mobile phone number in the field.
3. Read the consent text and tick the checkbox beside it. It is unchecked by default, and the button stays disabled until you tick it yourself.
4. Press “Text me a code”. min. texts a 6-digit code to that number.
5. Type the code back into the form. That proves the number is yours, and you are opted in.

Option 2 — text min. first. Send any message to +1 (415) 629-3650 from your own phone. Starting the conversation is itself the opt-in, and min. replies to that number and no other.

Consent is one-to-one

• You give consent for your own number only. There is no way to submit someone else’s number and have min. text them.
• Consent is never shared, sold, rented, or forwarded to any third party, affiliate, or partner, and no third party can opt you in on our behalf.
• Consent is never implied or bundled. Ticking the box is a separate, affirmative act; it is pre-checked nowhere, and it is not required to create an account, sign in, or use min. on the web.
• We buy no phone lists and import no numbers. Every number min. texts was entered by the person holding that phone, or texted min. first.
• The code step verifies consent: min. only keeps texting a number once someone has proved they hold that phone.

What min. sends

• Account and sign-in codes, when you ask for one.
• Replies to messages you send min.
• Occasional check-ins about your own calendar, inbox, or to-do list — the things you connected min. to.

Conversational only. No marketing, no promotions, no third-party advertising, and nothing on behalf of anyone else — ever.

min. is a companion you ask things, so its replies sometimes carry a link — a news article, a video, a product page — when you asked it to look something up. Two rules hold for every one of them:

• Never a shortened link. min. sends the full destination URL, exactly as it appears, so you can see where a link goes before you tap it. It uses no URL shortener of any kind, public or private.
• Never an affiliate or tracking link. No referral tags, no commissions, nothing appended to identify us. If min. points at a product, it is because you asked what to buy, and we make nothing either way.

Links are always to the destination itself — a publisher, a video, a retailer — never to a redirector we control. min. also sends the occasional GIF as an MMS in reply to something you sent it.

Frequency, rates, and opting out

Message frequency may vary. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP at any time to opt out and the messages stop immediately. Reply HELP for help, or email hello@withmin.ai. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

We will not share or sell your mobile information for marketing or promotional purposes. No mobile information is shared with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing. Your number is shared only with the text-messaging provider that carries the messages on our behalf, which cannot use it for anything else.
