Terms.
last updated 2026-09-09
These are the terms for using min., made by Siege AI, Inc. ("we", "us"). Using min. means agreeing to them. They are short, because terms nobody reads protect nobody.
min. comes in two forms. min. life is a companion that texts you and, if you let it, knows your email and calendar. min. quant is research tooling for the markets. These terms cover both; the section on the markets applies only to the quant.
What min. is
min. is an intelligence that stays with you. You talk to it, it remembers, and it is there the next day. With your permission it reads the accounts you connect, so it can be useful about your actual life, and it may text you when there is something worth saying. You need to be 18 or older, and you need to own the accounts and the phone number you connect.
Your account and your data
Your data stays yours. Connecting an account gives min. permission to read it in order to provide the service, and nothing beyond that. The privacy policy says exactly what is stored and what never happens to it. You can disconnect an account, unlink your phone, or delete everything at any time. Keep your sign-in method secure; you are responsible for what happens on your account.
min. can be wrong
min. is built on AI models that infer things, and inference is guessing with evidence. It will sometimes be confidently wrong about a date, a name, a place, or a fact. It is not a lawyer, a doctor, an accountant, or a financial adviser, and nothing it says is professional advice. Check anything that matters before you act on it.
Anything with a real-world effect, like sending an email, putting something on your calendar, or placing an order, asks you first. If you approve it, the action is yours.
Texting
When you give min. your number, or text it first, min. may text you back and, now and then, text you on its own. Message and data rates from your carrier may apply. Reply STOP at any time and it stops; reply HELP for help. We never send marketing texts, and we never give your number to anyone else.
Fair use
Do not use min. to:
- Break the law, or someone else's rights.
- Connect an account or a number you do not own, or send messages people did not ask for.
- Attack, overload, or probe the service, or work around its limits.
- Scrape, resell, or rehost it, or reverse engineer it beyond what the law allows regardless of contract.
We may suspend an account that does these things.
The markets (min. quant only)
The quant is research tooling and execution convenience. It is not financial advice. We are not a broker-dealer, not an investment adviser, and we owe you no fiduciary duty. Its research, backtests, conviction scores, and strategies are information produced by software, including AI, and AI can be wrong. Nothing it outputs is a recommendation tailored to your circumstances. You approve every strategy, and every decision is yours.
- Your money never sits with us. Brokerage accounts are yours, held at your brokerage and connected through a brokerage-connection provider. Until you connect one, trading runs in a sandbox with no real money.
- Trading involves risk of loss, up to everything you put in. Never trade money you cannot afford to lose.
- Backtests and historical analogs describe the past. They do not predict the future, and past performance guarantees nothing. The quant shows its sources so you can verify anything load-bearing.
- When execution is enabled and you approve a strategy, orders route to your connected brokerage. Guardrails like notional caps, the kill switch, scheduled tranches, and auto-stop monitoring are best-effort software, not guarantees: markets move, data feeds hiccup, brokers reject orders, and software fails. You remain responsible for your positions and for watching your own account.
- Do not use it to break market rules: no manipulation, no trading on stolen information, no evading sanctions.
- The free research run is one per person. Working around that limit, or helping others to, ends the account.
Availability
min. is a young product. It will occasionally be down, occasionally lose a feature, and occasionally change. We do not promise uptime. If we ever shut the service down, we will give you notice and a way to take your data with you.
Your words, our software
Your conversations, your ideas, and your strategies are yours. You give us just enough license to process them to run the service for you, as described in the privacy policy, and we never sell them. The min. software, brand, and everything we built is ours; these terms give you a personal, non-transferable right to use it.
Warranties and liability
min. is provided as is, without warranties of any kind: no promise of availability, accuracy, or profit. To the maximum extent the law allows, Siege AI, Inc. is not liable for trading losses, lost profits, or indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the service, and our total liability for any claim is capped at the greater of $100 or the amounts you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose. Nothing here limits liability that cannot legally be limited.
Ending things, changing things
You can stop using min. and ask us to delete your account at any time. We can suspend or end accounts that break these terms. We may update these terms; if a change is material we will say so in the product before it takes effect, and the date above always tells you the current version. Continued use after a change means you accept it.
The legal frame
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. If a court finds part of these terms unenforceable, the rest stands. Questions: email ew@getmin.ai, or reach the founder on X or LinkedIn.
